Advanced Home Theater Setup & Mount

AVS will:

  • TV and Video Setup:
  • Connect the customer’s video components in one (1) room.
  • Take away the boxes and packing, unless the customer requests to keep it.
  • Connect the customer’s TV to a single source such as existing cable, antenna, or satellite signal.
  • Integrate up to 7 components, including components already present.
  • Additional charges apply for connecting components to new or existing networks. See Wireless or Wired Networked Component Hook Up.
  • Ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and wire ties are used when necessary.
  • Set up remote control devices with proper codes allowing unit to control other components, as per factory-set specifications.
  • Set up parental control / V-Chip.

Speaker Setup:

  • Set up speaker system receiver, and/or subwoofer to operate up to a 7.1 surround sound system.
  • Integrate up to 7 components, including components already connected to an existing network.
  • Additional charges apply for connecting components to new or existing networks. See Wireless or Wired Networked Component Hook Up.
  • Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working.
  • Ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and wire ties are used when necessary.
  • All speakers must be in one (1) room.
  • Take away the boxes and packing, unless the customer requests to keep it.
  • Consolidate and program product remotes to simplify functionality.

TV Mounting 33-60″:

  • Secure the customer supplied (or factory included if applicable) mounting bracket under cabinet or to a standard frame wall.
  • Mount and secure Flat Panel TV which is 33-60” screen size, to above bracket.
  • Connect the TV power cord to an existing AC power outlet (surface connection only).
  • Ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and wire ties are used when necessary.
  • Spackle any area where access holes were created in walls.

TV Wires Concealed:

  • Create two access points for connection of A/V source component to video display (one at the video display and one at the A/V source component).
  • Connect customer-supplied cables from the Flat Panel TV to a single tuner or A/V source component by routing up to ten (10) feet of cable through a standard frame wall.
  • Ensure all wall-fished cable exit points are finished off with either a wall busing or specialized wall plate.

Does NOT include:

  • Running electric cords in-wall.
  • Moving electrical outlets.
  • Speaker mounting on-wall, in-wall, or in-ceiling.
  • Drilling additional holes not required to perform the above services.
  • Repainting areas where access holes were drilled.
  • Programming of any universal type learning remote.
  • New setup of TiVo, Slingbox, or other DVR. (Use Single Component Hook Up)

Note:

  • Electric cords cannot be run in-wall.
  • Customer must arrange for electrical outlets to be moved.
  • Customer must supply mount.
  • For video runs over ten (10) feet (non-HDMI), we recommend a Multi-Conductor Video Run.
  • If additional access points are warranted, charge an additional TV Wires Concealed service.
  • If additional wire runs are needed, use Multi-Conductor or Single Wire Run.
  • If the appropriate length of CL rated cables were not purchased or are not available, we recommend a Multi- Conductor Video Run.
  • Multi-Conductor cannot be terminated for DVI or HDMI connection.
