Speaker Setup

AVS will:

  • Set up speaker system receiver, and/or subwoofer to operate up to a 7.1 surround sound system in a single room.
  • Integrate up to 7 components, including components already connected to an existing network.
  • Additional charges apply for connecting components to new or existing networks. See Wireless or Wired Networked Component Hook Up.
  • Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working.
  • Ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and wire ties are used when necessary.
  • Take away the boxes and packing, unless the customer requests to keep it.
  • Consolidate and program product remotes to simplify functionality.

Does NOT include:

  • Speaker mounting on-wall, in-wall, or in-ceiling.
  • Programming of any universal type learning remote.
  • Drilling holes not required to perform the above services
  • Hiding speaker wires within walls or any other type of custom wiring.

Note:

  • All speakers must be in one (1) room.
  • Speaker Mounting:

TO PURCHASE THIS SERVICE, CUSTOMER MUST ALSO PURCHASE SPEAKER SETUP OR A SERVICE BUNDLE THAT INCLUDES SPEAKER SETUP.
This Service will be rang one time for each speaker to be mounted.
AVS will:

  • Mount speaker(s) on-wall, in-wall, or in-ceiling either in-home or outside.
  • Connect speaker(s) to audio receiver.
  • Verify speakers are properly positioned and working.
  • Ensure all wires are neatly dressed and wire ties are used when necessary.
  • Spackle any area where access holes were created in walls.

Does NOT include:

  • Drilling additional holes not required to perform the above services.
  • Repainting areas where access holes were drilled.
  • Hiding speaker wires within walls.

Note:

  • Ring this Service if customer requests soundbar mounting.
  • Customer must supply or purchase speaker mounts.
  • When mounting speakers in-wall or in-ceiling, customer must purchase Speaker Wires Concealed.
  • Speaker Wires Concealed:
  • To PURCHASE THIS SERVICE, CUSTOMER MUST ALSO PURCHASE SPEAKER SETUP AND SPEAKER MOUNTING.
  • This SKU will be rang one time for each speaker for which wires are being concealed. (RING 3 TIMES)

AVS will:

  • Route and conceal up to fifteen (15) feet of basic speaker wire (included) per speaker, within standard frame wall or ceiling.
  • Ensure that all wall fished cables exit points are finished off with either a wall busing or specialized wall plate.

Note:

  • Only CL rated cables can be run in-wall.
  • On average, most rooms with multiple speakers set up with concealed wires will not need more than the total amount of speaker wire allotted for this Service. When necessary, use Single Wire Run along with this Service for additional 100 feet of wire.
