Front Projector Installation

AVS will:

  • Install the customer’s Front Projector on the customer-supplied stand or ceiling mount.
  • Connect, by surface mounting only, the TV power cord to an existing AC power outlet.
  • Integrate up to 7 components, including components already connected to an existing network.
  • Additional charges apply for connecting components to new or existing networks. See Wireless or Wired Networked Component Hook Up.
  • Attach and conceal customer supplied cables, through a standard ceiling/wall frame, from the Projector to the tuner or A/V source components.
  • Set up speaker system receiver, and/or subwoofer to operate up to a 7.1 surround sound system.
  • Verify that all speakers are properly positioned and working.
  • Ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and wire ties are used when necessary.
  • Take away the boxes and packing, unless the customer requests to keep it.
  • Set up remote control devices with proper codes allowing unit to control other components, as per factory-set specifications.

Does NOT include:

  • Screen installation. (Use Projector Screen Installation )
  • Speaker mounting.
  • Concealing speaker wires.
  • Beyond the Projection TV to source component wiring; no other holes will be drilled, no wires hidden within walls, nor any other type of custom wiring will be performed. Access holes will be drilled as needed for wiring within cabinets.
  • New setup of TiVo, Slingbox, or other DVR. (Use Single Component Hook Up )
  • Programming of any universal type learning remote.

Note:

  • If the appropriate length of CL rated cables were not purchased or are not available, we recommend a Multi-Conductor Video Run.
  • Multi-conductor cannot be terminated for DVI or HDMI connection.
  • All speakers must be in one (1) room.
